Glitched Hearts

A family is pulled into a broken digital world. In My EXP wakes without the memories that tell him who they are—but not without the instinct to find them.

What survived the fall

The heart remembers first.

In My EXP cannot remember his family. Still, when the system threatens them, his body moves before his missing files can explain why.

Glitched Hearts is an emotional RPG about memory, family, and choosing to protect what matters even when the proof has been erased.

This dossier stays close to the opening chapter. Deeper answers remain inside the game—and inside future pages that have not stabilized yet.

Episode Zero // recovery route

What the demo remembers.

A sequence of recovered moments, presented without the answers the player has not earned yet.

Boot Room

In My EXP wakes in a damaged system with no heart file and no clear path home. A small living signal named SYLBiT is the first guide he can hear.

Fragment Zero-One

A cracked memory of Imelda breaks through. He cannot place her name at first. His heart recognizes the loss anyway.

The Link

A watch-like connection arrives after the memory fragment, giving SYLBiT a way to remain close as the search leaves the terminal.

The Void

The search reaches a place built from missing context, unstable paths, and signals the system could not fully delete.

First Recovery

A familiar child is found. She remembers another name more clearly than she remembers the person standing in front of her.

A deeper signal

The family is not complete. Somewhere beyond the first recovery, another child is still waiting.

Known transmissions

People, not profiles.

SUBJECT // IN MY EXP

The one who woke up

David's digital avatar and the story's protagonist. His memory is fractured; his instinct to protect is not.

KNOWN: heart file missing
FRAGMENT // IMELDA

The memory that hurts warmly

His wife and strongest cracked memory. Outside the system, she is not waiting passively for it to return what it took.

KNOWN: connection persists
GUIDE // SYLBIT

The signal learning to stay

A living presence who wakes with the incident. SYLBiT begins small and uncertain, helping In My EXP survive while discovering a voice of their own.

KNOWN: amber signal stabilizing
VOID // CHILD SIGNALS

The reason to keep moving

Samus and Zidane are not quest markers. They are the emotional reason every corrupted room, failed path, and return to a Save Point matters.

KNOWN: both signals survived

Recovery is the mechanic.

Save Points are more than checkpoints. Green is life returning: a place to breathe, preserve what was found, and try again without pretending the damage never happened.
