Hi, I’m David.
In My EXP began as the name I made music under. The songs came first. Everything else grew around what they were trying to say.
I’m a musician, producer, developer, storyteller, husband, father, and nurse. In My EXP is where those parts of my life meet: music becomes memory, memory becomes character, and sometimes a feeling needs a game, a page, or an entire world before I understand it.
ORIGIN
The lore did not arrive before the work. This is music that kept building a world.
In My EXP & DavyyyyG
I release and teach through both names. DavyyyyG holds more of my direct, real-world creator and teaching voice. In My EXP is also my musician alias, my digital avatar, and the world that formed around the music. They connect because they come from the same person—not because they need to become the same project.
Experience leaves data.
EXP is leveling up, but not in the clean way games summarize it. It is the part you keep after mistakes, love, fear, practice, family, and starting again. This archive turns some of that into songs, SoundCore fragments, games, manga pages, and tools other people can touch.
The heart is real.
In My EXP is my digital avatar. Imelda, Samus, and Zidane come from my real family. SYLBiT woke inside the system and became the guide helping them survive it. The fiction can glitch and expand, but the care underneath it is not fictional.
A save point, not an escape hatch.
The world acknowledges damage without worshiping it. Green means recovery here: life returning, another attempt, a small light left on. If something I make helps you feel understood—or makes you want to create again—the archive did its job.
“I’m still figuring parts of this out. That is not a flaw in the archive. It is why the archive is alive.”
